Audit Event and Event Status

You now know about a Business Process, a single transaction, and an audit event within a transaction. In addition, each audit event can also contain statuses. For example, the Order Receipt can contain at least one event status that must occur before the transaction moves to the next audit event (Order Validation) in its lifecycle.

An event status for an audit event could be: New, In Progress, or Done, or it might contain all 3. All event statuses associated with an audit event must be completed, before the transaction can move to the next audit event.
