Licensing Terms for TIBCO Cloud™ AuditSafe

TIBCO Cloud™ AuditSafe is a service that provides Capability in TIBCO® Cloud that can be used by your Organization to record your business audit events. It is licensed on a Subscription basis.

In order to take advantage of TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe’s capabilities, you can avail yourself to the following subscriptions:

  • Free Trial
  • Environment
  • Additional Messages per Day

Terms

  • Environment: In TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe, Environment means access by an Organization to the TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API), and is restricted by the number of Messages per Day associated with the Environment.

  • Message: Message is defined as a post or “write” transaction through available connectors or API, which corresponds to an audit event in TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe’s database.

  • Messages per Day: Messages per Day means the number of audit events that are written during a 24-hour period.

For example, for your organization, if Order 1234 has been entered and recorded in TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe, Order Entry of Order 1234 is an audit event and is counted as a message whereas the Started and Completed stages of Order Entry 1234 are statuses of that audit event and are not counted as messages. Order Shipped is another audit event / message, whereas the Started, In Progress, and Completed statuses of the Order Shipped event are not counted as messages.

Consider another example of a batched transmission that contains 100 transactions or records. While this technically is a one-shot transmission, each transaction in the transmission corresponds to an audit event in the TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe database, and therefore counts as a message. Therefore, this one-shot transmission is counted as 100 messages.

TIBCO Cloud™ AuditSafe Subscriptions

There are two types of subscription licensing units available for TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe:

Unit Type Description
Free Trial Allows free access to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe’s UIs and APIs for 30 days, with maximum daily transactions of 1000 messages and maximum file storage of 5 GB.
Environment Base: Allows an Organization access to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe’s UIs and APIs, and allows the Organization to post up to 10,000 messages per day to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe through available connectors or APIs.

Enterprise: Allows an Organization access to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe’s UIs and APIs, and allows the Organization to post up to 100,000 messages per day to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe through available connectors or APIs.
Additional Messages per Day If you need additional capacity to record more audit events per day than what has been included with your Organization’s Environment, you can purchase Additional Messages per Day as needed:
